After four years of serving the Hillcrest community as part of a larger group, we are proud to announce that our practice has transitioned to a private, independently owned office: Hillcrest Glow Dental Office.
While our name has changed to reflect our commitment to a modern and patient-centered experience, our core remains the same. Dr. Hae Rim “Rachel” Ryu, who has served as the sole clinician here since our opening, continues as our owner and lead provider alongside our original, dedicated team.

What happened to Dental Express?
Dental Express has transitioned its Hillcrest location into a private practice, now proudly owned and operated by Dr. Hae Rim “Rachel” Ryu. While the office was previously part of a larger group, it is now an independent, locally-owned practice named Hillcrest Glow Dental Office.
Dr. Rachel has been the primary clinician here since we first opened our doors four years ago. This change allows her to focus exclusively on our Hillcrest patients with the same familiar team you already know and trust.
What insurance providers do you accept?
We accept most PPO and Denti-Cal plans. If you are a returning patient from Dental Express, we continue to accept all of the same insurance providers as before. We have also fully integrated all existing payment and financing plans, ensuring your current billing schedule continues without interruption.
No insurance? We offer flexible in-house financing options to help you get the care you need.
What does this change mean for my dental care?
It means continuity and stability. Our primary goal is to ensure this transition is seamless for you. You will see the same doctor, the same hygienists, and the same friendly faces at the front desk. Your dental records, digital X-rays, and ongoing treatment plans have all stayed right here in our Hillcrest office. There will be no interruption to your care or your scheduled appointments.
